MAY is National Mental Health Awareness Month which further increases the focus on improving and maintaining mental well-being.
In 2024 Terri Jozefiak handed the torch to Common Ground, who now manages the RIDE 2 END SUICIDE as an in-house fundraiser. We are beyond grateful to Terri for her dedication, heart, generosity, and inspiration as founder and 8-year manager of this meaningful community event. THANK YOU TERRI AND LOU!
Registration fees:
$40 - General
$20 - Military & First Responders; Students ages 11-18
Children 10 & under ride free
*Class 1 and 2 Electric Bicycles are allowed for use in Stony Creek Metropark. Other Classes are not permitted.

Ride begins and ends at Stony Creek Metropark, Shelter tbd
Riders will take the Stony Creek Metropark loop around the lake and return to the starting point. Full route is approximately 6 miles.
Stony Creek Metropark
The purpose of Ride 2 End Suicide is to raise awareness and money to help fund Common Ground’s suicide prevention programs.
Proceeds raised with the Ride 2 End Suicide Ride go to Common Ground, a Michigan 501(c3) nonprofit organization located in Oakland County, Michigan.
Common Ground has been helping people move from crisis to hope since 1971. Dedicated to helping victims of crime, people with mental health challenges, and others in critical situations, Common Ground is a lifeline for Michigan residents. Common Ground has served over 165,000 people over the last year; in person, via mobile crisis teams, calls, texts and through its virtual behavioral health urgent care.
